*  Acrylic Paint Colors, "Apple Barrel Colors "
(I buy my at Wal-Mart), nutmeg brown,
mosaic green, true navy, light pumpkin,
white, pink - for blush, gold,  antique white,
black, english Ivy green,
*  3  -  1" cinnamon sticks (small ones),
*  Delta - Decorative Snow,
*  Darice -  Foamies - They have these in the
craft department at Wal - Mart - craft foam -
2mm thick, 9" x 15", White Color 1 sheet,
Poster Board,
Glue,
hot glue gun,
Floral wire - 24 gauge - green color,
just a little bit, of little flowers to go around the
neck for the Snow Angel
1. Print out both Snow Angel Patterns (click here for patterns).
Cut out "A" & "B" Pattern for Snow Angel that you just printed out.

2. On pattern "A" (the bigger one), trace it on poster board,
then with pattern "B" trace it on the craft foam. After you have
done both of them,  cut them out. You will have
1 poster board Snow Angel, &
1 craft foam Snow Angel.

3. With the floral wire wrap it around a pencils to get the swirl
look then use your hot glue gun to the glue the floral wire on
each side of the Snow Angel wings.  My wire measure out
11" inch after I did the swirl look.

4. Put glue on the "B" Angel (not alot of glue), then place the
craft foam Angel on top of the poster board Angel. Let it dry.
The craft foam angel will be small, so just center on the
poster board.

5. Take pattern "A" Angel and lay it on top of the Snow Angel,
The poster board is the top of the Angel. Use an ink pen and
just trace the pattern right on Angel. Don't use to much pressure,
you don't want to tear the paper pattern, after you have trace
it all. Take it off, and use a pencil and out line (the top of the
angel, is poster board). The markings you just made, just use the
pencil lightly ok.

6. Paint the dress #3, with mosaic green paint, it takes about 3
coats, don't put it on heavy. Just make nice and every strokes.
Put one coat of paint on at a time and let it dry.

*** I know I am repeating myself about painting, I just want everybody
to see how cute these turn out. ***

7. Paint the Snow Angel head #1 & the arms #4 with white paint.
It take about 3 coats, don't put it on heavy. Just make nice and
every strokes.
Put one coat of paint on at a time and let it dry.

8. Paint the Sign #5 with antique white paint, it take about 3 coats,
don't  put it on heavy. Just make nice and every strokes.
Put one coat of paint on at a time and let it dry.

9. Paint the Snow Angels wings #2 with nutmeg brown paint.
it take about 3 coats,
don't  put it on heavy. Just make nice and every strokes.
Put one coat of paint on at a time and let it dry.

10. Now you have to do it out line the snow angel.

11. Out line the dress with English Ivy Green.

12. Paint the Star #6 with gold paint.

13. Paint the words "Winter Birds Gather Here" in
with True Navy Paint, and then out line the sign with the
same color of paint.

14. Put the blush on the face with pink paint, use black paint
to make dots for the mouth and the eyes.  Paint the nose with
light pumpkin paint.

See you are almost done, and this Snow Angel is just so cute :))

15. using small flowers, light brown or beige color flowers looks
nice on the Snow Angel.  Cut the flowers about 1 1/8" long, then
hot glue the flowers around the neck. Next, break the cinnamon
sticks to 1" long and you need 3 of them. Hot glue them in place.
Take the Delta - Decorative Snow, and dab it on the cinnamon
sticks, the wings, the side of each arm, some on the top of the
sign, the sides of the bottom of the dress.

16. On the bottom of the dress you can stencil a snowflake in
true navy color of paint. And you done, you did a great job.

Hit, I first tried to paint on the craft foam, and the paint just soaks
in. That is why I use the poster board to paint on.
